About Debra

I was Principal of my own dance school: Debra Whitten School of Dance for over 35 years. I’ve had many successful students that have gone on to study at Australia Ballet School, English National Ballet School, New Zealand School of Dance. Then many have gone on to dance in professional companies.

I taught at Qld Dance School of Excellence for over 18 years.
I love ballet and want to pass my passion onto all students.

I develop a professional rapport with students which enables them to develop to their full potential.

About the lesson

I have a caring and nurturing manner which aids the student to develop to their full potential. I work the student by assisting them to improve their technique and musicality. Coaching is available for RAD exams and ballet competitions or general basic technique.
