About Ammaar
I have a genuine passion for Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence and have always enjoyed teaching.
I want to simplify the Computer Science syllabus, not only to prepare students for exams but to inspire confidence and passion for the subject.
I have an excellent track record in my personal academia:
- I also achieved 9 A*s in my GCSEs (including Maths and Computer Science), and 39 points in IB including studying Higher Maths and Computer Science.
- 1st Hons in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from the University of Birmingham (a Russell Group university)
- I received the best dissertation award for my research thesis, which went on to be published.
- I have worked as a cloud engineer at Amazon and a year as a full stack engineer at Automation Consultants
- I am currently studying an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at King’s College University.
- I will be a PhD student in Artificial Intelligence from the next academic year

I’m a passionate tutor of Computer Science and programming. I focus on tutoring Computer Science and Programming across KS3, GCSEs and A Level/IB.
Additionally, I can provide professional insight into the technology industry as I have worked for Amazon and other smaller companies as a cloud and software engineer.
I like to prepare students for exams via understanding rather than rote memorisation, to make Computer Science appear as the approachable series of building blocks it is at its core. I found this method of building understanding most effective in my previous Computer Science tutoring roles, however, I can provide more focused guidance for time-sensitive situations.

I can provide online tutoring and/or in-person tutoring around Central/East London as well as in the Dartford area.
