About Olga
My name is Olga, and I am a dedicated tutor with a strong academic background and a true passion for teaching. I graduated from Glendale High School with honors in 2024 and am currently pursuing a degree in Biology at Glendale Community College in California. My studies in English, math, and science, combined with my experience working with children, allow me to create lessons that are both professional and engaging. As a native Russian speaker, I also provide conversational Russian practice, which makes me uniquely qualified to support bilingual students or those interested in learning Russian. Parents and students can feel confident that I approach every lesson with patience, structure, and encouragement. My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to inspire them to enjoy the learning process. As a tutor, I, Olga, focus on making each lesson clear, engaging, and adapted to the student’s needs. My method includes explaining new topics in simple steps, practicing through examples, and encouraging active speaking. A typical lesson begins with a short review, continues with new material, and ends with exercises or conversational practice. What sets me apart is that I am a Russian native speaker who not only teaches English, math, and science in English, but also offers conversational Russian for those who want to improve speaking skills naturally. My lessons are best suited for elementary school students up to grade 4 who need academic support, as well as children or adults who wish to develop their everyday Russian communication in a supportive and comfortable atmosphere.
