About Santiago

Hi! I'm Santiago, a piano teacher and piano tuner based in Sydney. I’m originally from Mexico, where I worked as a piano teacher for over 5 years before moving to Australia as an international student. I graduated from the Conservatory of Contemporary Music and have been playing piano for more than 12 years.

I specialize in teaching complete beginners, especially kids and teenagers, in a relaxed and friendly way. One of the things students and parents appreciate most about my lessons is my patience and supportive teaching style. I understand that learning piano can feel overwhelming at first, especially for children, so I use a practical method that helps students start playing songs without needing to read sheet music from day one. This helps build confidence, motivation, and enjoyment naturally.

I teach classical, pop, and general piano fundamentals, adapting lessons to each student’s pace and goals. I also offer professional piano tuning and diagnosis for upright and grand pianos.
