About Montgomery

I am an enthusiastic Saxophone tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, and I have successfully taught around 150 students from beginners to advanced players. I enjoy mentoring students and guiding them through their musical journey.

My tutoring approach is supportive, patient, and goal-oriented. I help students build strong fundamentals such as posture, breathing, tone quality, and finger technique. Lessons are adapted to suit each student’s pace and comfort level.

I encourage open communication and guide students on effective practice habits. I also support students during challenging phases and help them stay motivated.

My unique strength is my mentor-style teaching, where I guide students beyond just lessons. My goal is to help students grow into confident, disciplined, and expressive saxophone players.

About the lesson

I teach saxophone using a student-centred methodology that emphasises flexibility, collaboration, and positivity. Each student has a unique learning style, so I adapt lessons to match their preferences, pace, and goals, making sessions both effective and enjoyable.
