About Yipee
I am an enthusiastic Saxophone tutor with 6 years of teaching experience, having successfully trained around 150 students from beginners to advanced players. I believe learning music should be clear, enjoyable, and motivating.
My tutoring style is friendly, clear, and structured. I start with fundamentals such as posture, breathing, and tone control. As students advance, I teach finger accuracy, rhythm, sight-reading, and performance skills.
I make sure lessons are interactive and easy to follow. I encourage students to ask questions and express themselves musically. I also guide students on how to practise efficiently at home.
My unique skill is my ability to make complex concepts simple and enjoyable. My goal is to help students grow musically while enjoying their saxophone journey.

My saxophone teaching methodology is student-focused and emphasises adaptability, collaboration, and positivity. I understand that each student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to their individual learning style, pace, and goals using demonstration, listening exercises, and hands-on practice.
Flexibility ensures lessons evolve according to progress, motivation, and interests, making learning engaging, enjoyable, and productive. Collaboration allows students to participate actively, experiment with improvisation, and contribute creative ideas, building both technical skill and confidence.
I foster a positive and supportive environment where achievements are celebrated and challenges are turned into opportunities for growth. Lessons cover saxophone technique, musical expression, improvisation, performance skills, and music theory, providing a well-rounded foundation.
Beyond saxophone, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and ensemble performance. My aim is to nurture confident, expressive musicians with a lifelong passion for music.
