About Waseem
With a key value of quality first, my approach to tutoring is very thorough and tailored to the individual. I am very passionate about the subjects I teach and can extend this passion to anyone I teach. I can help with exam preparation, confidence-building, and grade improvement.
I have graduated with a degree in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical chemistry in 2007 and obtained a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science in 2013. Being a science course leader since 2016, I have extended experience in all exam boards and their specifications (including AQA, Edexcel and OCR). I have over 12 years of experience in teaching science and maths at all levels. I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and have a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education and Professional Practice.

I use my own teaching materials, and I provide individualised support to each student based on my evaluation of their weak areas. Once the learning gaps are identified, I will set up an individualised study plan for the student to focus on the weak areas. I also provide homework after each lesson and provide feedback on each homework. I only teach science and maths, and I have limited availability. For the past years, my students who committed to working hard demonstrated quick improvement and eventually achieved excellent grades.
I do not provide tuition at tutee's address. I only offer tuition at my house or online.
