About Clara
I am originally from the United States, where I earned my Bachelors degree in Science (emphasis on chemistry and biology) from the University of Connecticut in 2020. I worked as a peer science tutor for 4 years during my undergraduate career and I worked an additional year at a professional tutoring company (Tutor-Me-SOS) teaching elementary and middle school science, high school chemistry and biology, and university level biochemistry. I am currently living in Ottawa pursuing my graduate degree in Health Sciences and have a passion for teaching students and sharing my love of science with others- at every level! I also have 3 years experience working as a pediatric medical assistant, so I understand the different ways that different age groups learn and behave in order to communicate in a friendly and engaging manner. My goal is to make your tutoring sessions as interactive and fun as possible, while giving you the support and encouragement you need to succeed.
