Struggling with science? Let's make it easier, clearer and more enjoyable!
I offer engaging and personalised online tutoring in chemistry, physics, maths, science, supporting students to build strong subject knowledge, improve confidence and achieve their academic goals.
Subjects I Teach
Chemistry – atomic structure, bonding, reactions, acids and bases, organic chemistry and more
Physics – forces, energy, electricity, waves, motion and more
General Science – comprehensive support across the sciences
Exam Preparation & Revision – structured preparation, exam techniques and practice questions
My Teaching Approach
I believe that students learn best when they understand the science rather than simply memorising facts.
My lessons are:
Student-centred – lessons are adapted to each student's ability, learning needs and goals.
Interactive – I use questioning, discussion, diagrams, demonstrations, simulations and real-world examples to make concepts easier to understand.
Clear and structured – complex scientific ideas are broken down into manageable steps before building towards more challenging concepts.
Practical and relevant – I connect science to everyday life and real-world applications so students can understand why the subject matters.
Exam-focused when required – I use past-paper questions, retrieval practice, worked examples and exam strategies to help students apply their knowledge effectively.
Confidence-building – I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their understanding.
What Students Can Expect
By working together, students can develop:
Stronger understanding of key scientific concepts
Greater confidence in answering questions
Improved problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Better revision and study techniques
Greater confidence with examinations
A more positive attitude towards science
Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an examination, or aiming to achieve higher grades, I will tailor each lesson to your individual needs.
Let's turn “I don't understand science" into “I can do this!”
Book a lesson, and let's start your science journey.
