About Megan
As a teacher, mentor, tutor and coach, I have made helping others my whole life. I truly love what I do! After working for many years as a Personal Trainer, Nutritionist and Health Coach, I knew that I loved learning about science as it relates to the human body. I have a fascination with Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy, Kinesiology, and Physiology. I shifted my focus to teaching young people about science in hopes that they would understand that learning how the body works can save them from a host of mental and physical issues over the course of their life. Instead of trying to solve their health problems later in life, they could prevent them by gaining an understanding of how the brain and body operate. Science is always changing, and I love being in a position where I can keep learning while helping others.

I prefer tutoring one-on-one because it allows me to get to know the learning styles and needs of my students. I believe that as long as we can figure out the most effective learning technique for you, we will be successful! I am a trained and educated teacher, so I know the steps necessary to get you from where you are to where you want to be.
I really love what I do. I truly have a passion for helping and teaching, so I bring a positive energy to every tutoring session. I work with most grade levels. I love teaching science and have always had a passion for Biology and Chemistry, so if you need assistance with your science work, I would love to help! From the right perspective, science can be a lot of fun, I promise!
