About Emily
I am 19, currently looking for work and out of school. I wasn't the best in school and didn't get the greatest grades, I think I lacked confidence in myself and ability. I did GCSE textiles and always loved making mood boards in these lesson, it is a really good way to begin to feel inspired again. I think creating mood boards or scrap booking is a good tool for anyone who wants to feel closer to their true selves and picture their dreams again. It's fun and opens your mind up to lots of ideas!

My teaching method would be to come to know every individual and what makes them, them, to be able to help them show this through a mood board and see for themselves. This involves patience and trust, that i hope you can feel soon. Depending on if you already have a topic you need help with, or if there is a topic we can choose together, it will be good to explore ideas and what you would like to delve deeper into and express. There are so many topics out there, I don't have the most experience but i am willing and wanting to learn just as much! Or I like to say, ''developing your personal curriculum'', this means the things in your heart you are interested to express or learn about, we can! It can feel like a personal project. I think having someone to listen to your ideas and help you in any ways, can be helpful to make these things easier and less overwhelming. I also think it is a good thing to help mental health. I believe we are all teachers, listeners, people here for people in whatever ways, i am open to exploring this and learning myself:)
