About Jake
I'm a recent USC grad who got a degree in "Writing for Screen and Television" only to emerge into a job market on strike. That left me with a lot of energy and vigor for literature and writing without anywhere to use it. Enter: tutoring. But I've got as earthy a background as anybody else. I grew up in Idaho to middle class folks and only got to attend college after serving in the USAF and having Uncle Sam front the bill.

I'll help with any issue you have in English. Be that writing, reading, or the confluence of the two.
I want to know what you want to learn - in order to build a lesson plan that will impart the knowledge you're looking for. Tutoring is just interacting with somebody who's good at a skill you're trying to develop.
I work primarily with middle school to college students but anybody is welcome.
