About Wexler
I have a diverse work and study background—a bachelor's degree in psychology, a master's in social work, and decades of experience in mental health, social work, and public health. I've worked on every level of treatment: assessment, diagnosis, crisis intervention, ongoing therapy, case management, and even police reform. I have obtained a 200-hour yoga teacher training, and offered mindfulness education and practices to folks of all ages. I am passionate about many things: finding the strengths in the people I support, helping them find their strengths and build on them, and promoting self-care (for both clients and helpers). I have supervised many social workers and therapists, and conducted hundreds of trainings.
