About Risharda

I am a seasoned English and Afrikaans teacher.
I love languages and I thoroughly enjoy sharing my knowledge and insights with others, so that, they too, will experience the great joy of being able to speak fluent and excellent English and Afrikaans.

Much of my time is spent reading literature and motivational books.
I currently teach more than 57 children - grades 1 to 12, English and Afrikaans every month.

I have contributed significantly to their success in these subjects.

About the lesson

The foundation to English is the understanding of phonics and their integral part in speaking and understanding words.

During my lessons, I explain thoroughly what root words are and how other words are generated using these, how prefixes, as an example, changes the meaning of a word.
How, why and when to use punctuation - using practical every day scenarios, so you never forget.

My lessons are fun-filled, exciting, very rewarding and leaves my student eager to learn more.

My flair for the English language, inspires me to read widely and share my learnings in my lessons.
