Prior to being a teacher, I was a terminologist at IBM France and a freelance professional translator for prestigious clients such as UNESCO and the Government of Ontario, Canada. My academic credentials include a master's degree in professional translation, another master's degree in language engineering, and two undergraduate degrees in modern languages, encompassing English, Spanish, and Italian.
