Mr. Casson was a teacher that made the classroom not only feel welcoming, but made you feel safe. There was never a moment I felt uncomfortable talking or asking questions during class and he made learning an absolute delight. He was my teacher for two years in middle school as well as in charge of my national honor society in high school.

Bruce and I have been colleagues and have co-taught several subjects from rhetoric/writing to history and literature. He has a robust depth of knowledge in the liberal arts and an engaging and relevant way of connecting content to students. Bruce is a favorite teacher with students because he genuinely cares not only about his topic, but more importantly about students themselves.

Bruce is very personable. He gets to know his students on a professional and personal level. He meets the needs of each individual student in his lesson planning/curriculum building. Both of these qualities provide trust for the student and for Bruce.
