About Kimberly
I've been teaching for 21 years. I have a Bachelor of Education from the University of Saskatchewan. I have taught grade 2 though to grade 8. I love the opportunity I have had over the years to teach in an inclusive classroom with many learning styles. I have loved teaching students who have come to me with English as their second language and sometimes third. I find it so exciting to meet students where they are at and together problem solve on what they may find difficult and how to meet their needs/outcomes. Often this results in individualized learning plans. Teaching has allowed me to be a lifelong learner as I get to learn alongside my students at times and develop amazing relationships along the way. To teach is an honor.

I'm able to teach many age levels and needs. Together we will find what you are most interested in, which will keep you engaged and invested while we tackle outcomes you need the most work in. We are all lifelong learners and capable but sometimes we just need a little 1-1 and extra support. I know what it's like to need a little extra help or 1-1, and not feel the pressure of a large group setting. I'll teach to what you're passionate about and plan lessons according to your learning style. We all learn differently and sometimes need someone to take extra time to figure out how you learn best. Maybe you strive artistically, or sway towards technology like canvas or slides. I look forward to ease pressures and have fun!
