About Giacomo
I am an oboist from the province of Perugia, graduated from the F. Morlacchi Conservatory in December 2019 (Second Level Academic Diploma). My passion for music has lasted since I took my first steps in the Municipal Music School and in the Music Band of my country as a child. The studies in the Conservatory represented for me the opportunity to transform music into a work with a thousand facets, from the classical / contemporary repertoire for oboe to medieval and baroque music with historical instruments. I have always been fascinated by the functioning of the tools I studied and this made me deepen their construction, history and maintenance. By virtue of everything, I will have the pleasure of sharing with others what I have learned (and I am learning!).

I think the best strategy for teaching a musical instrument is to let the pupil develop his own solutions to problems and difficulties; the teacher has the role of helping him to find his own way and to develop a unique and personal musical personality. It is necessary to study the foundations of the technique, the vocabulary of the instrumentalist, and the functioning principles of music (harmony, solfege, counterpoint and history) always bearing in mind that the instrument is only a means of achieving the true objective. : express music!
