About Keisha

My name is Keisha. I am from Belfast. I actually didn’t like school until I was older and realised there was more to school than just maths and science. I took religion sociology and English literature at A level and received A*BB. I loved doing A levels and I can happily say that I love my university course aswell. I am a current student at Queen’s University Belfast. I am on the MA liberal Arts Course taking a particular interest in English as well as politics and history. I want to teach due to the fact that I had amazing teachers at A level so I know what a difference that can make for a student and I would definitely enjoy watching students flourish in academia.

About the lesson

It is important for my students to feel comfortable during lessons as this is the time to ask questions without being afraid of others reactions. I want students to realise how important academia truly is and that it does not have to be a daunting thing. Doing well in English and other fields of academia can open many doors, so If you find yourself struggling in some areas then you are more than welcome to reach out for help and better your future.
