Here is a brief summary of what my students will get in my classes,
Phonics Lessons:
Letter Recognition: Introduce toddlers to individual letters and their corresponding sounds, helping them recognize and differentiate between them.
Sound Blending: Teach children how to blend individual sounds (phonemes) to form simple words, laying the foundation for reading.
Sight Words: Introduce common sight words that toddlers can learn to recognize without needing to sound them out, promoting reading fluency.
Interactive Activities: Use songs, rhymes, and engaging games to make phonics fun and memorable, reinforcing the connection between letters and sounds.
Pronunciation Lessons:
Clear Articulation: Focus on helping toddlers articulate sounds and words clearly, practicing the correct pronunciation of vowels and consonants.
Speech Patterns: Encourage proper speech patterns by modeling correct pronunciation and allowing children to mimic these sounds through repetition.
Rhythmic Practice: Use rhythmic activities like clapping or tapping to help children understand syllable emphasis and intonation in speech.
