About Charlotte

My name is Charlotte and I have always enjoyed learning languages. I am in my second year studying German and Spanish at the University of Cambridge, and I learnt Latin up to A-Level. I love to help improve GCSE and A-Level German students who are seeking support with grammar, speaking, vocabulary, and literature analysis. Since 2019 I have mentored GCSE and AS students in German and Latin, and I have tutored students online in German A-Level since 2021. I can adapt to a variety of learning styles to suit your preferences best, and am an experienced online tutor. With my recent experience of learning German A-Level, I have a thorough understanding not only of how to improve your German but also how to do well in exams. In my A-Levels I received A*A*A* in German, Latin, and English Literature, plus an A* in an EPQ. My recent successes as a tutor include 3 A-Level students whose standard of work increased by 1-2 grades: one student's test grades increased from a C to an A after just 4 lessons. I have also recently mentored a student in Modern Languages who has an offer to study at the University of Cambridge. About the lesson

Hi, I'm Charlotte and I'm in my third year at the University of Cambridge studying German and Spanish! I love languages and literature, and am keen to help people with online German tuition. I offer practice in all four skills primarily by working through grammar exercises and past exam papers together. Also, I am happy to hold some discussions in German and give suggestions for how to improve any writing you have done already. I can respond to any questions about grammar and vocabulary, and also serve as a point of contact for anyone who wishes to discuss studying languages at university. Lessons are for 60 minutes.
