About Charlotte
I'm a 19 year old uni student that can't wait to be a teacher, and I am currently in my second year studying Secondary Education at QUT with a focus in English and Literature. I hated English in my earlier years of high school until I had this amazing English teacher in year 10 and suddenly I loved the subject so much that I started Literature. It was that one teacher that caused me to ace both subjects for three consecutive years and inspire me to become a teacher myself.
While I'm by no means expecting you to love the subject or become a teacher yourself, I will help you receive the marks you are wanting and are more than deserving of!
You've already done the hardest part: asking for help. As cheesy as it sounds, it shows that you really are determined to see a positive change. I hope I get to be your supporter with that change!

I know that every student has their own personal preference to learning and understanding, and as a future teacher (Grad. 2028) I am passionate in helping them understand their work, learn and apply key skills across their studies. My goal is for you to be able to hopefully begin independent study using the skills you learn. As someone who spent years 7-9 barely passing English to spending 10-12 receiving a minimum grade of 24/25 in both English and Literature (even for my external exams), I know that everyone is capable of improvement.
Lessons can range from 30, 60, or 90 minutes. Whether you need a quick recap the night before an exam, or a complete breakdown of a task, I'm here for you! The first portion of the initial lesson is getting to know you and how to best help you approach your tasks, and set up lesson plans that are catered to you. I understand long sessions can be tough, so it will always be at your own pace.
I am a current Secondary Teaching student at the Queensland University of Technology, with experience tutoring when I was in school, and now working at a primary school with my services including teaching. I've assisted year level groups from year 4 to 12, with particular skill in those older age groups. Because I graduated high school in 2024, you can be sure that I'm very familiar with those stressful ATAR months and what you need to do to yield the best results!
