About Naeema
About Me Hi, I’m a qualified and experienced English teacher with a real passion for helping young people thrive in both English Language and Literature. I’ve taught students from KS3 to A Level, and I’m fully confident working with the AQA, OCR, and Eduqas exam boards. What drives me most is seeing that moment when a student gets it — whether that’s finally cracking a tricky poem, writing with more flair, or walking into an exam with confidence they didn’t have before. I’ve helped students improve their grades, grow in self-belief, and even enjoy English when they never thought they could. My lessons are warm, calm, and encouraging — always tailored to the student’s needs. My Approach to Tutoring I take a personalised and structured approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to suit the student’s learning style, ability, and goals. Whether we’re improving unseen analysis skills, refining essay structure, or building confidence with set texts, I focus on breaking down tasks into manageable steps, using model answers, guided practice, and targeted feedback. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, with a clear focus, engaging activities, and time for reflection or consolidation. I regularly check understanding, revisit tricky topics, and provide useful exam strategies tailored to the AQA, OCR, or Eduqas exam boards. I’m a qualified secondary English teacher with experience teaching KS3, GCSE, and A Level. I’ve worked with students of all abilities – from those aiming for top grades to those needing to rebuild confidence or fill learning gaps. My lessons are suitable for students aged 11–18 who want to improve their English Language or Literature skills, whether they’re preparing for exams or just need extra support in school.
