About Alexander
My name is Alex and I've spent the past two years teaching in Devon. I grew up in France to English parents, have lived in Spain, and have just spent five months travelling South America. I love languages and believe learning a second language can hugely impact your life, be it in your career or your personal life. I understand many schools do not provide enough hours to properly prepare students for their MFL GCSEs and would love to be able to help students succeed, whatever that means for them (be it a pass or a 9, you tell me!)

My approach is one which has been tried and tested for years during my time as a teacher in the UK, to get students to where they want to be. If you are in year 7 or 8, I will focus with you on grammar to complement what you are learning at school through the National Centre for Excellence in Language Pedagogy curriculum.
If you are in year 9 or above, we will focus specifically on the GCSE exams themselves, doing practice exams and learning specific strategies to score as many points as possible
