About Soyal
Hi there! My name is Soyal James, and I am a prospective Bachelor of Science(Advanced) student at Adelaide University. I am currently serving in the Australian Defence Force as a junior naval officer.
I graduated from Emmaus Christian College in 2022 with a 99.95 Selection Rank and received the prestigious Sir Samuel Griffith scholarship valued at $25,000 in my final year. I received subject awards for: English, Mathematical Methods and Research Project where I obtained all A+ grades. Moreover, I undertook accelerated university courses in year 12 and received a 7/7 Grade Point Average (GPA).
My mission is to help you truly understand new concepts, optimise for academic success and enjoy the learning process. If an intuition-first approach resonates with you, you’ll feel right at home. There’s no pretenses, no fuddy teacher, just an excited tutor sharing what actually makes ideas click. This strategy is what I utilised in year 12 to achieve academic success and I genuinely believe that it can work for all students.
My guiding philosophy is this Einstein quote: “If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough.”
