About Shruti
Hi, I’m Shruti, a self-taught artist and art enthusiast who loves creating and teaching art. I work with different mediums, especially acrylic painting, drawing, and oil pastels.
I enjoy teaching beginners and children because I believe everyone can learn to draw and paint with the right guidance and practice. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and step-by-step.
I want my students to enjoy the creative process while learning real techniques and developing their own artistic style. Whether you are picking up a pencil or paintbrush for the first time or simply want to improve your skills, I’m happy to guide you along the way.

I am a self-taught artist who loves helping beginners discover their creativity and develop confidence in drawing and painting.
My classes are suitable for children and beginners who want to learn drawing, oil pastels, acrylic painting, colour theory, and basic art techniques.
I believe in teaching step by step rather than expecting students to create complicated artwork immediately. I first help students understand basic shapes, lines, proportions, colours, shading, and composition before gradually moving towards complete artworks.
A typical class includes a short demonstration, guided practice, and time for the student to create their own artwork with my support. I adapt the pace and difficulty according to the student's age and skill level.
For children, I keep classes interactive and fun while building their basic drawing skills. For older beginners, I can focus more on techniques, colour mixing, composition, and acrylic painting.
My aim is not just to teach students how to copy a picture, but to help them understand the techniques and become confident in creating their own art.
