About Maithri
My name is Maithri Porwal. I'm a postgraduate student doing my master's in Intellectual Property Law. I taught myself how to crochet through YouTube videos and instantly fell in love with it. I have the experience of taking crochet lessons for a semester back in my university. It was a very introspective experience and pushed me to continue teaching crochet alongside my studies. I have crocheted a quarter of my wardrobe and most of my home decor. I hope I can teach this skill and help people learn this relaxing, almost meditative craft!

- The lessons will be in the form of a one hour session every week. The student will not only learn new stitches but also finish a small project at the end of every lesson! - The student will be given a syllabus with project options to choose from every week. This will include crochet garments, small plushies, home decor items, accessories etc. - The syllabus will be flexible to accommodate the student's interests. - Additional lessons for learning crochet syntax and code, acquiring and reading patterns, making appliqués and sewing can also be taught at the student's request. - All ages may apply!
