You can't ask for a more qualified and knowledgeable Superprof than Barret. I've known him since university; even then, he finished top of the class with honors in Japanese. We both worked in education/international relations in Japan, and his work in Kyushu was exemplary. All of this means that his broad cultural knowledge is based on years of experience and research in Japan. He's even created an original series of textbooks for learning Japanese! I highly recommend Barrett if you are looking for a great teacher with a sense of humor.

Barrett is great and knows his stuff. He'd better, he lived in Japan for a large portion of his life.
