Currently, as a Senior Business Associate at a leading publication support company, I work daily with PhD candidates and academic Subject Matter Experts. I'm immersed in the world of advanced research and scholarly communication, gaining invaluable insights into the intricacies of academic success. This experience has sharpened my ability to break down complex concepts and communicate them clearly. Prior to this, my roles at Tech Mahindra and Upstox honed my problem-solving skills and adaptability, qualities essential for effective teaching. Beyond my professional life, I have a strong connection with my younger sibling, whom I actively support with her studies. This personal experience has reinforced my belief in the power of personalized mentorship and the importance of fostering a positive learning environment. My own school experience, while valuable, wasn't without its challenges. I often had strong opinions about the teaching methods and the broader education system, feeling there were missed opportunities to truly engage students.
Back then, I couldn't enact change, but now I can. I believe students thrive when they have a mentor, someone who understands their perspective and can guide them, not just lecture them. I envision myself as that friend, someone who can make learning exciting and relevant, while still maintaining a framework of discipline to ensure progress.
I want to show younger students that learning isn't a chore; it's an adventure, and I'm here to help them explore it.
