About Desni
I am currently a senior at Cerritos High School. I love reading and history; during my free time, I'm almost always researching or reading about something that intrigues me. During my years at Cerritos High, I've taken AP World History, AP English Language and Composition, and AP US History. In my junior year, I was helping my peers write their essays and giving constructive feedback.
When I'm not a student, I'm either still reading, drawing, or playing rhythm games.

I help students by teaching a variety of new concepts and allowing them to come to their own conclusions. As the lesson continues, I walk with the student and help them improve their own writing through meaningful discussion and questions. I believe that students should not be directly told the answer or have the work done for them, so I try to make sure the lesson is as interactive and reflective as possible so that the student can truly understand and apply the skills that I have taught them to their own writing.
I am most comfortable teaching high school students, especially those that are taking AP English Language and Composition.
