About Bin

I am Mufti Muhammad Chaman Zaman, a dedicated scholar, researcher, and author with a 25-year career in higher Islamic education. I hold the degree of Shahadat-ul-Almiya (equivalent to a Master’s in Arabic and Islamic Studies) and have specialised in Ifta (Jurisprudence). My life's work is dedicated to the preservation and teaching of classical Islamic sciences.
As an author of over 100 published books, my expertise extends across the breadth of the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum. I have spent decades as a "Teacher of Teachers," mentoring dozens of scholars and Muftis. My specialisation lies in the "Advanced Sciences" (Al-Fanoon al-Aliya), particularly Formal Logic (Mantiq), Philosophy (Falsafa), and Complex Jurisprudence (Fiqh).
Throughout my 25 years of experience, I have issued thousands of Fatawa (legal rulings), providing me with a deep practical understanding of Shariah law. I am also a Hafiz-ul-Quran and a master of the Urdu language. My passion is to share this ocean of knowledge with students in the UK and worldwide, helping them navigate the most challenging texts with ease and scholarly precision.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is rooted in 25 years of academic rigour and research. Having authored over 100 books, I focus on bridging the gap between classical Islamic texts and contemporary understanding. I specialise in simplifying complex logical (Mantiq) and legal (Fiqh) frameworks for students of all levels.
What to expect from my lessons:
Textual Analysis: Deep-diving into classical texts like Sullam al-Ulum, Qazi Mubarak, and Hamdullah with a focus on resolving linguistic and logical complexities.
Interactive Digital Board: I use a digital whiteboard to illustrate inheritance (Meeras) maps, Arabic sentence structures (Tarkeeb), and logical diagrams in real-time.
Research-Oriented Approach: Students are encouraged to develop critical thinking and research skills, moving beyond rote memorisation.
Customised Curriculum: Whether you are a student of Takhassus-fil-Ifta or a beginner in Arabic, I tailor each session to your specific pace and goals.
My objective is to empower students to become independent researchers and scholars who can engage with original Arabic and Urdu sources with confidence.
