About Chanda
I am a certified teacher in Atlanta, Georgia. I have worked with students from prekindergarten all the way across to the 5th grade, supporting students in the classroom and outside the classroom. I participated in After School classes providing extra help during after-school classes. Apart from that I have also been a tutor students who need extra help to understand the concepts taught in class. During my after-school hours, I also taught English and Math to primary students.

First thing I do when I start a new class is to pre-assess my students to get an idea of where my students are with regard to a concept. That gives me an idea as to how I would differentiate my lesson for the students who do not understsand or enrich the lesson for students who are at or above grade level. My teaching methodology involves modelling a lesson to the students ( I do). Next, my students and I work on a concept together (We do). Finally, when the students have understood the concept, they work independently without my help (You do).
