About Atharv
Hi! I'm Atharv, a passionate architecture student at the University of Houston and a multi-subject tutor with years of experience in teaching friends and students across the city. I specialize in breaking down tough topics into simple, creative explanations that click. If you’ve ever said, “I just don’t get it,” I’m here to help you finally get it.
A little more about me- my architectural background has sharpened my problem-solving skills and taught me how to think critically and visually, which I bring into all my tutoring sessions. My advanced software skills and job experience in design have given me real-world knowledge I love sharing with students. On top of that, I serve as a Resident Advisor at the university dorms, where I’ve learned how to connect with students from all walks of life and support their learning with patience and empathy.

3. Interactive Engagement: Lessons aren’t just lectures. I ask questions, encourage discussion, and get students involved to reinforce learning actively.
Typical Lesson Plan:
1. Warm-Up: We start with a quick review or diagnostic question to identify where you’re at.
2. Concept Breakdown: I explain the main topic in a way that suits your learning style - visual, verbal, or hands-on.
3. Guided Practice: We work through example problems together, focusing on the why behind each step.
4. Independent Practice: You’ll apply the concept with problems while I support and correct when needed.
5. Wrap-Up & Reinforcement: We end with a summary, tips, and a quick preview of what's next to build confidence.
