About Raphaelle

Fascinated by voices since my childhood, I took vocal technique classes for 10 years with excellent teachers trained in the United States:
- Marlene Continente : Jazz singer and pianist, student of Bobby McFerrin and David Lynx, graduate of EDIM;
- Fannie Klein : Soul & Jazz singer and pianist, graduate of the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston.

I then enriched my experience with two Gospel choirs: "Paris Gospel Choir" in leisure (300 choristers) and "My Gospel Choir" in semi-professional (30 choristers), with which I sang in particular at the Seine Musicale and in the first part of Tasha Cobbs Leonard at the Salle Wagram in Paris.

The adventure continues, with my practice of vocal improvisation and co-improvisation as well as my participation in the intense experience of Chanson Contemporaine (which animates in particular the Nuits de Champagne in Troyes).
I also animate several times a month with the rest of the Praise team the various events of community life of the Eglise Lyon Centre (Sainte Blandine) in a pop praise repertoire (Glorious, Be Witness, Exo, Hillsong, ...). This service gives me the opportunity to sing in a place with incredible acoustics and in front of a large audience (from 600 to 850 people during the masses, without counting the stream!)

Convinced by all the benefits that singing can bring to one's life, whether on a personal or professional level, and having benefited greatly from it myself, I have chosen to dedicate my activity to the voice and to humbly teach what I have learned and what I continue to learn from my various experiences and learning.
I also love to share, accompany, transmit, and help people grow, and what could be more beautiful than to do it for something that I love and that sincerely speaks to me: singing!

This is why I am currently perfecting my vocal and pedagogical knowledge by following Emmanuelle Trinquesse's "Sing Voice & Body" training, which delivers the state-recognized certification "Teacher of singing and vocal technique".

About the lesson

I use a pedagogy specific to the teaching of the voice and its particularities, the voice being a bodily, intimate and personal instrument. This vocal pedagogy is largely based on Emmanuelle Trinquesse's modern and physiological "Sing Voice & Body" approach and is enriched by my training and my various musical and human experiences.

I have a playful approach of the voice, personalized according to the profile and the desires of my learners and based on your vocal comfort, the confidence in your voice, the authenticity and the musical sharing.

A preliminary exchange will allow us to define together your expectations and objectives.
The lessons will generally propose a phase of body and voice warm-up (body mobility, relaxation, breathing, vocal warm-up) followed by a phase of vocal skills development according to the objectives set together beforehand and the songs you have chosen to work on.
