Maggie likes to incorporate acting games and techniques into her teaching, creating a more relaxed environment. In every lesson, there is an opportunity to prepare a mindset of comfort towards a presentation or performance. Whether presented with a beginner or someone already well into their singing practice, Maggie will adapt her lessons to each student’s needs. In the first lesson, the student will be asked about what they look for in the lessons, which might be from improving pitch or technique to performance anxiety-related issues. For a full development as a musician, Maggie encourages the learning of music theory within her lessons by including ways of practising and side exercises, if the student is interested in this possibility.

Maggie is not only a fantastic singer worthy of her First from the Royal Academy of Music but an excellent teacher as well. They possess a fantastic ability to communicate ideas and advanced vocal techniques in an easy to understand fashion as well as fundamentals in such a way that I wanted to continue learning and better my technique. I highly recommend them as a teacher.
The combination of Maggie's meticulous, kind and patient teaching with their extraordinary singing skills make them a very trustworthy tutor.
