About Weiyi

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance and a Master's degree in Sustainability from universities in Singapore. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Economics in China. I have a strong foundation in Mathematics and achieved excellent results in mathematics-related subjects during my undergraduate studies. I also enjoyed helping my classmates with Mathematics, and they went on to achieve good results in their final exams. As a native Chinese speaker, I am equally passionate about teaching Chinese. I have teaching experience in both Mathematics and Chinese at tuition centres in Singapore, working with Primary and Secondary school students.

I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic tutor who genuinely enjoys teaching! I believe everyone learns differently, so I will tailor my teaching to your individual needs, abilities and learning pace. I will explain concepts clearly, guide you step by step and make learning enjoyable. You are always welcome to ask me questions, no matter how simple or difficult they may seem, and I am more than happy to explain things as many times as you need. My goal is not only to help you improve your academic results, but also to build your confidence, develop a love for learning and feel proud of your progress! Let's learn, grow and succeed together!

About the lesson

My lessons are well-structured yet flexible! I provide students with a clear lesson plan in advance, while adjusting the pace and content according to their individual needs and progress.

I believe that effective learning comes from understanding, communication and encouragement. I actively engage with my students, listen patiently to their questions and difficulties, and adapt my teaching methods to help them overcome challenges. I focus on building strong foundations through clear explanations, step-by-step guidance and targeted practice.

Above all, my priority is to help every student make meaningful progress, gain confidence and enjoy the learning process in a positive and supportive environment. Let's enjoy learning, grow and make progress together!
