About Nicola
Hello! I'm Nicola and I'm a singer, songwriter, musician and music tutor. I have a strong passion for music and love to share that with my students.
Lessons with me are fun and laidback, but I will push you to challenge yourself! I always like to make sure that my students are comfortable and feel like they're getting the most out of their lessons too. I know it can be tricky to perform or share your music with others so patience is incredibly important in my approach to teaching.

Friendly and fun approach to tutoring! Whether you're working towards a deadline, or just learning for fun - I've got you covered!
Singing Lessons:
- Learning the basics of breathing and diaphragm support
- Ear training: e.g. melodic recall
- Expanding and building your repertoire
- Increasing confidence
- How to improve your performance skills
- GCSE performance exam guidance
- Pop singing grades
- Lesson duration: 30 mins or 45 mins
- Ages taught: 11 years+
Songwriting Lessons:
- Why do we write songs?
- Writing for different purposes (I'll give you weekly tasks and briefs)
- How to write in different styles
- How to improve your melody and lyric writing
- GCSE composition guidance
- Lesson duration: 45 mins or 1 hour
- Ages taught: 11 years+
5 years of teaching experience, both in schools and privately (aswell as online).
15+ years of singing and performing experience.
BA (Honours) Songwriting graduate.
