About Esme
My passion for singing began from performing music, exploring vocal styles, and expressing emotions through songs from a young age. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a PhD in Vocal Arts. Over the last 11 years, I have guided students through vocal development using supportive teaching methods and structured learning approaches.
I focus on creating lessons that feel welcoming and adaptable for different confidence levels and musical interests. Some students improve through technical repetition and vocal drills, while others respond better to emotional interpretation and creative performance exercises. My teaching style combines patience, positivity, and encouragement so students can improve steadily while building vocal confidence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy songwriting, live music performance, and studying different vocal traditions and musical genres. Staying active in music helps me bring creative and inspiring ideas into lessons. Teaching singing is deeply rewarding because I enjoy helping students discover confidence and personal expression through their voice.

My singing lessons focus on helping students strengthen their voice through supportive practice and structured vocal development. I teach breath control, pitch stability, resonance, phrasing, harmony, and stage performance using exercises that build confidence and vocal flexibility gradually. Lessons are designed to improve vocal expression, musical understanding, and confidence while creating a comfortable learning environment.
Beginners improve through vocal warmups, breathing exercises, and simple melodies that gradually strengthen vocal foundations. Intermediate learners develop stronger projection, emotional delivery, and vocal consistency through guided performance activities and technical practice. Advanced students focus on artistic interpretation, stylistic versatility, and polished performance preparation with deeper vocal understanding. I also include listening exercises and recording review activities that help students improve naturally.
Singing becomes more meaningful when students connect emotionally with music instead of focusing only on technical perfection. My lessons encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression while helping learners improve steadily. I want students to become more expressive, relaxed, and emotionally connected to their voice and music.
