About Janet
I am a teacher who values clarity above all else. 11 years of experience has taught me that vocal growth is deeply personal. I have worked with hundreds of students, from teenagers to busy professionals, who are navigating their roles in Canada.
My approach integrates music education principles with the patience required to help adults find their footing. I enjoy seeing students connect their breathing control to their performance confidence. You will find my teaching style to be friendly and methodical in every aspect. My goal is to ensure you feel capable and prepared whenever you step up to the mic.

First sessions are for finding your natural range. We analyze your current breathing control and microphone technique to build a base.
You will explore genre styling in pop, classical, or musical theatre to see what fits your voice. Head and chest voice development is critical for achieving a balanced sound.
Practice matters! We apply these techniques to your favorite songs so you can hear the improvement immediately. Performance confidence is built slowly through consistent, small wins during our time together. You leave each session with a clear understanding of your next steps.
