About Valentina

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have considerable professional training and experience, which both fed into my thriving teaching practice in London.

I have been teaching privately in London for over five years.

- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?

Yes.

- Where and with whom did you train?

I trained with Maria Krivenski and Mikhail Kazakevich in piano and with Laura Zakian in singing. I also studied Instrumental and Vocal Teaching at postgraduate level.
I have taken numerous masterclasses and short courses in piano, voice and education. I intend to continue learning and fine-tuning my skills for life.

Hello everyone! I offer bespoke lessons in piano, singing and theory: each lesson is designed for each individual student, according to the student's needs and interests, using a variety of teaching strategies to enhance the learning experience.

- How much do you charge?

I charge £50 per hour, £40 per half hour.
I offer a consultation session free of charge to discuss your aims and my approach.

- Where do you teach?

I mainly teach at my studio in Bermondsey, London (SE1 / SE16).
If you want to discuss alternative location arrangements, please contact me.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach all ages and all levels.
Currently, I have students ranging from 4 years old to 70 years old, from absolute beginners to university-level performers.

After careful discussion with the student, we decide together on the most appropriate qualification. No conveyor belt approach here!
