About Maria
Maria is a professional vocalist and vocal coach from Mexico City with over 10 years of teaching experience. She's passionate about helping singers discover their unique voice, build confidence, and develop the technical skills to reach their artistic goals. She's also passionate about music theory.
As a session singer, live performer, and vocal director, Maria brings real-world insight to her students. Her credits include background vocals for Disney Latin America (Beauty and the Beast, Phineas and Ferb), major films, and background vocalist for sold-out arena shows, alongside providing vocal direction and arrangements for theatrical productions and artists.
Maria holds BAs in Vocal Performance and Songwriting, has completed the Berklee Course in Composition and Production of Commercial Music, and is trained in psychopedagogic teaching techniques and vocal technique. She offers tailored online lessons in English and Spanish for all levels.

Skill Development: Focused work on your specific goals, such as ear training, microphone technique, improvisation, or audition prep.
Repertoire Application: Applying technical foundations directly to the songs you love.
Integrated Approach:
For students interested in a deeper musical foundation, I offer an integrated approach. This involves weaving ear training and harmony directly into the vocal workout through the exploration of chords, scales, and melodic patterns—helping you develop multiple skills simultaneously.

Wonderful teacher! I kind of already knew how to sing but because I had never had a formal training I didn't know how to place my voice correctly and use the right muscles.
