About Paige
Hi, I am a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education. I specialize in working with young and beginner singers who are often nervous or unsure about their voice. My biggest goal in every lesson is making singing feel safe, fun, and pressure free.
I teach basic breathing, pitch matching, and simple song performance through playful, encouraging methods suited to young learners. Most of my students are children or true beginners taking their very first singing lessons. We celebrate small progress constantly, since confidence often grows faster than technical skill at this stage.
I once taught a nine-year-old who refused to sing above a whisper during her first few lessons out of fear of sounding wrong. We slowly built trust through private, low-pressure exercises, and within a few months she was singing proudly in her school talent show. Her mother later told me it changed how her daughter saw herself entirely.
Singing should never feel scary, especially for a beginner. I would love to help your child, or you, discover that same confidence.

My teaching approach focuses on building confidence in young and beginner singers. Many students walk in feeling shy or unsure about their voice, so the first goal is always making singing feel safe and fun. We start with simple, playful songs rather than anything technically demanding.
Breathing exercises are taught through games rather than dry instruction, which keeps young students engaged and relaxed. Pitch matching comes next, built gradually through call and response activities that feel more like play than practice. I keep every lesson encouraging, since fear of sounding wrong is often the biggest obstacle for beginners.
Some students are naturally shy and need gentle encouragement before they will sing above a whisper, so I build trust slowly through small, private wins. Others are eager but slightly off pitch, so I patiently guide their ear without ever making them feel discouraged. Every small improvement gets celebrated along the way.
Every singer deserves a safe space to find their voice. Let's build that confidence together, one song at a time.
