I am a singing instructor with 16 years of experience and hold an Advanced Diploma in Singing. My teaching blends a structured approach with creative exploration, ensuring every lesson is both productive and inspiring. About the lesson

My teaching approach for *The Fiddler* and *The Music Major* focuses on building confidence, developing precise pitch, and cultivating expressive vocal performance. Pitch accuracy is honed through scales, interval training, and targeted ear exercises. We use ear training apps and recording devices to provide immediate feedback and track progress over time. Metronomes assist in developing timing, rhythm, and consistency, especially for complex passages. I adapt techniques to each student’s learning style, whether they thrive on structured exercises or creative improvisation. Vocal health routines, including proper hydration and gentle stretching, ensure sustainable growth and protect the voice. Students are encouraged to explore emotional expression through dynamics, articulation, and stylistic nuances. Regular performance practice builds stage confidence and reinforces learned skills.
