About Chiamaka

I am a Dedicated, compassionate and result-oriented primary teacher with 3+ years experience across various year groups from Reception to Year 6. Passionate about planning and delivering engaging lessons that resonate with students. Increased student pass-rate by 32% in 2020–2021 school year online. Committed to continually upgrading my subject knowledge through ongoing trainings. Teaching is something i am very passionate about, it makes feel fulfilled. Having the responsibility of shaping the academic and social skills of every student i come across is a great privilege. Being able to be a part of a child's growth in the most positive and crucial way is a huge honor.

About the lesson

I have been teaching since 2019, taught briefly in the classroom and when covid came, online and private tutoring became the most convenient way for students to be taught. I have developed massive skills over the years teaching students online and helping them achieve excellence in academics and social learning. I use different methods for my students depending on what each individual needs, what works for them and which method best increases their academic and social skills. I use 8 methods frequently and they are: Project based learning, Flipped classroom, Gamification, Cooperative learning, Design thinking, Problem- Based learning, Competency-Based learning and Thinking-Based learning. These are few of the methods i use daily for my students. I enjoy the challenge of teaching students academically but also helping them to thrive socially. As a team player, I have joined and participated in committees and teaching improvement projects to help build a better environment for students. My added training helped me earn a certificate in Autism and Learning disability, helping me understand special need children and giving them the training and attention they need academically and socially. My enthusiasm and compassion for all students will bring excitement and opportunity to the students and parents as well. I also engage with the parents, involving them in the day to day academic and social improvements of their children. Working with them to give the students the best academically and socially. I look forward to working with you and contributing to the growth of every Child.
