About Jett
As a flute tutor with more than 12 years of experience, I have helped many students grow into confident musicians. I teach flute to school children, college students, and working professionals who want serious training or casual learning. My teaching approach is student-centred and flexible.
I focus on strong fundamentals including posture, breathing, tone stability, finger technique, and rhythm precision. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, and scale practice to provide complete musical development. I encourage students to practise regularly with discipline and purpose.
My unique strength is building confidence and stage readiness. I guide students in performance preparation and help them overcome nervousness. I believe music builds patience, focus, and creativity in every learner.

My flute teaching philosophy is centred on developing confident musicians through Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I focus first on establishing essential foundations such as proper breathing techniques, embouchure alignment, and tone consistency.
From there, I gradually introduce scales, articulation patterns, rhythm studies, and expressive phrasing. I carefully observe how each student responds to instruction and adapt my teaching style accordingly. Flexibility allows me to tailor lesson content to suit academic goals, stage preparation, or hobby learning.
Collaboration plays an important role, as I encourage students to communicate openly about their challenges and achievements. Positivity ensures that learning remains enjoyable and motivating, even when facing technical difficulties.
In addition to flute performance training, I also teach music reading, rhythm counting techniques, ear development, and performance confidence to provide well-rounded musical education.
