About Rosa
With 14 years of tutoring experience, I specialise in teaching French to high school and college students, and I have guided 150–200 students towards academic improvement and confidence in the language.
My teaching philosophy is based on understanding, consistency, and encouragement. I believe that learning French should feel manageable and rewarding, not stressful. I explain concepts step by step using simple English and ensure students fully understand each topic before moving ahead.
My lessons cover grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and communication skills, with regular practice to strengthen learning. I customise every lesson according to the student’s academic needs, syllabus, and personal goals.
I support students with exam preparation, coursework, and overall language development while closely monitoring their progress. One of my key achievements is helping students improve their grades and overcome fear of learning French. Many students have developed a positive attitude towards the subject and greater confidence in their abilities. My aim is to help every student learn French with clarity and confidence.

My approach to teaching French combines practical application with supportive guidance. I use real-life examples and simple case studies from daily life, travel, education, and professional settings to make lessons useful and easy to understand. I follow a flexible teaching style and adjust the pace and content to match each student’s learning needs.
Collaboration is encouraged through interactive speaking tasks, discussions, and role-plays that build fluency. Compassion is a key part of my teaching philosophy, and I focus on encouraging steady progress and confidence.
Along with French language instruction, I also teach grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation and phonetics, reading and writing skills, conversational French, cultural awareness, and exam preparation.
