About Julia

Hello! My name is Julia, I've just moved to NYC from Paris.
I'm French-American, French is my mother tongue, and I grew up in both the US and Europe.

Back in France, I tutored private French lessons to kids between the ages of 3 and 12.
I'm also theater teacher to children and teenagers. We work on speech, vocals, reciting, and learning lines. All skills that are crucial when learning a language.

I work and study as an actor. I have a passion for the theater and for literature.

I've also studied languages myself - German and Russian. I am fully aware of the challenges and joys of learning a new language.

About the lesson

All levels are welcome!
I offer structured classes, as well as conversational classes.
Each lesson is tailored to the student. Once we have set out your goals, I will send you a class plan that we will follow. It is important to me that students understand their progress. Classes depend on the student's needs and desires. I give fun, interactive classes and also prepare students for tests, AP French, etc. I strongly believe that fun and ambitious go hand in hand. My lessons are for all ages. I have taught young children, teenagers, and adults (professional and leisure).
