My Teaching Approach
My name is Patryk, and my approach to mathematics tutoring is based on patience, clarity, and practical understanding. I believe students learn mathematics best when they understand why a method works rather than simply memorizing formulas. I therefore explain each concept step by step, use simple examples, and gradually increase the difficulty as the student becomes more confident.
My Teaching Method
I begin by identifying the student's current level, strengths, difficulties, and learning goals. From there, I adapt each lesson to their individual needs. I use worked examples, guided problem-solving, questions, practice exercises, and immediate feedback to help students develop both accuracy and confidence.
Rather than simply giving students answers, I encourage them to think through problems independently. When they make mistakes, I help them understand where the reasoning went wrong and how to approach similar problems correctly in the future.
A Typical Lesson
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous material and a discussion of the student's current challenges. We then introduce or review the main topic, work through examples together, and move on to progressively more challenging exercises. The final part of the lesson focuses on independent practice and reviewing key ideas so the student leaves with a clear understanding of what they have learned.
