About Lou
I have 13+ years of experience teaching Spanish to high school and college students, and I remain passionate about helping every learner succeed. My teaching philosophy is centered on personalized learning because I know each student has different learning preferences, abilities, and ambitions. I create customized lessons that encourage steady progress while making learning enjoyable.
My lessons focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, and conversational Spanish. I use interactive discussions, practical examples, role-playing, and communication exercises that allow students to practice the language naturally. This approach strengthens both confidence and fluency.
One of my greatest strengths is helping students overcome learning challenges through patience and positive encouragement. My Spanish teaching methodology combines motivation, communication, creativity, and time management to provide a complete and effective learning experience. I motivate students by understanding their goals, offering encouragement, and celebrating achievements to boost confidence.
