I've known and been learning from Liz for almost 20 years. She has in-depth knowledge and understanding of so many sewing and needlecraft techniques - along with being a wonderful teacher that makes learning anything fun and relaxing.

Liz is a delight to work with. She’s kind, smart, and creative. She’s exceptionally good at taking ideas and converting them into reality. Liz helped me turn rough sketches of a steampunk wedding dress into a gorgeous multi-part outfit. She also figured out why no purchased patterns fit my spouse’s shoulders and showed me how to adjust for differences in physical structure. She’s experienced in fabrics from silks to leather and knows the variabilities in how to work with them and how they’ll look when the outfit is finished. Liz knows where to place ‘helper’ supports to maintain the structure and desired fit underneath the more decorative surface fasteners. Before this project, when I was just learning how to sew, Liz helped me with several smaller projects. Learning from her is an enjoyable and comfortable experience.

Liz is kind, gentle, knowledgeable and fun! She has taught my teen daughters how to make mini cacti and taught me how to make adjustments to my daughter's formal dress - online! It was a great experience. I send highest recommendations and would be delighted to work with her again. She would be an excellent teacher, guide and support person to anyone from beginner to advanced skill level.
